The team here at JAWNT Oral Surgery uphold the same ideals when it comes to patient care. We take pride in the work we do and have built many long term relationships with our neighboring dentists. Not all procedures are alike and your dentist will most likely refer you to an oral surgeon for a more complex, difficult treatment. Because this is the heart of our practice, it is why we are one of the most trusted oral surgery offices in Seattle. Dr. Tommy Kim
Dr. Tommy Kim received his undergraduate degree from UC San Diego in Biomedical Engineering before successfully completing dental school at Western University in California and earning his DMD degree. He then went on to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Joseph's University Medical Center, a major teaching institution in the greater New York area. While the residency program exposed him to the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Kim developed a particular interest in sedation, corrective jaw surgery, removal of wisdom teeth, and implant surgery.
Having lived in California and New York City, Dr. Kim now calls Seattle, Washington home. He spends his free time exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer with his wife and Bernese Mountain Dog, Momo. He enjoys trying new restaurants, working out, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Kim is also passionate about giving back to the local community, and has participated in global outreach programs.
Dr. Kim is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who values patient care above all else. His technical skill paired with his warm personality make him a top choice for patients seeking surgical intervention in the Seattle area.
Dr. Matthew Epstein
Dr. Epstein attended Bellevue High School and went on to complete his B.S. in Biology and D.D.S. degree at the University of Washington.
Dr. Epstein’s trained at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. The expertise he gained in oral and facial plastic surgery has uniquely qualified in the management of soft tissue and hard tissue treatment of the face and mouth.
His childhood was spent hiking, camping and exploring the forests of Washington with his two brothers. He is an avid soccer player and a devoted Sounders fan. First finding his love for the game at age two, he often kicks the ball around with his daughters. He spends his free time together with family, his wife Rachel and daughters Eva(6) and Lily (2) also hiking, mountain biking and exploring. They love to create new adventures with friends, traveling and experiencing new cultures.
